We understand these unprecedented times have put a pause on our normal scouting programming. These pages will give you the resources to continue on the Scouting journey in character development, leadership development, citizenship training, and personal fitness.

Youth Protection Training Requirement

  • Youth Protection training is required for all BSA registered volunteers, regardless of their position.
  • New leaders are required to take Youth Protection training before submitting an application for registration. The certificate of completion for this training must be submitted at the time the application is made and before volunteer service with youth begins.
  • Youth Protection training must be taken every two years. If a volunteer's Youth Protection training record is not current at the time of recharter, the volunteer will not be re-registered.
  • Youth Protection training can be taken in an instructor-led class or online at my.Scouting.org.

To find out more about Youth Protection training, visit our Youth Protection Training page.

The Adventure Continues...

If you are looking to help out our Scout families with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints continue their journey in Scouting, please download this flyer to promote your unit. Specifically created to let the Scout families know that they have an opportunity to continue this amazing leadership program with your unit.

Keep Scouting strong in the Rancho Mesa Zone!

*This flyer has been approved to be posted in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints centers.

Yearly Activity Log and Feedback Forms

(For Scouts BSA, Venture and Sea Crews only)

Fill out these forms if you are planning to go out to campout and feedback when you get back. Part of this goes to tracking our units for our Journey To Excellence efforts. Majority of the information will be logged into a database to be access in the future to review RMD Troops travel experience and tips for the location. As we develop this to become more easier, your participation is appreciated. More information about your trip, the better it helps us.

Thank you so much for what you do!

Families can choose Cub Scouts for their sons and daughters, who can take advantage of the lifechanging experiences provided through Scouting. A program for older girls will be delivered in the coming year to offer a Scouting program to older girls, allowing for participating girls to earn the highest rank of Eagle Scout.
