Family Scouting: Serving Today's Families

Starting for 2018, families can choose Cub Scouts for their sons and daughters, who can take advantage of the lifechanging experiences provided through Scouting. 

Starting in February 2019, the Boy Scouts program name will be changed to Scouts BSA to offer the Boy Scouts of America scouting program to ALL youths, boys and girls, allowing them to earn the highest rank of Eagle Scout.

Find a Unit

The District is continuously building and managing a database of all current Units with contact information. By clicking on the button below, you will be redirected to BeAScout.org.

  • Once on BeAScout.org, click on "Why Scouting?" drop down menu
  • Select what type of unit you wish to join or find out more information
  • Enter your Zip Code and submit to find the local units in your area
  • Cub Scout Packs: If you see this icon , the Cub Scout pack is facilitating both Boy and Girl dens.

The following zip codes encompass the Rancho Mesa District: parts of 92121 and 92130, and all of 92145, 92126, 92127, 92128, 92129, 92131 and 92064.
